The New Jersey Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program (HPwES) offers financial incentives on energy efficient improvement packages. The more energy savings measures you decide to install, the greater the incentive you may be eligible to receive. Enhanced incentives are available based on the home’s estimated total energy savings (TES), as a result of energy efficient measures installed. The table below breaks down the incentives offered by the program and requirements for eligible measures.*

Energy Saving Rebates Depend on How Much Energy We Can Save

Receive $4,000 if we are able to save 25% or more of estimated energy use.
Receive $3,000 if we are able to save 20%-25% or more of estimated energy use.
Receive $2,000 if we are able to save 5-20% or more of estimated energy use
If you qualify for 20%+ energy savings, you may be eligible for 0% interest financing up to $10,000 or 0.99% financing up to $15,000.
If you qualify for 5%-20% energy savings, you may be eligible for 0% interest financing up to $5,000 for 36 months.
